What they don’t tell you when you buy an SUV
SEASON 2 – EPISODE 3 – What they don’t tell you when you buy an SUV
Is Your Motorised Status Symbol Costing The Earth? The average length off the male penis is 5.17 inches long, and studies have shown that there is no correlation whatsoever between the size of your penis and the car you drive. It does not help!
In a survey, which is me basically imagining what people might say is their reason for owning an SUV, apart from penis size, which almost nobody admits to and obviously a status symbol which again nobody admits to. They are most likely to say safety and for people with children, even more so.
Statistics show that people in SUV’s are 11 % more likely to die in a crash than normal cars.
So basically if you own an SUV for any of the reasons above, apart from status, because they are cool you have been had by the marketing machine of the manufacturers, who don’t care about the environment.
Growing demand for SUVs was the second largest contributor to the increase in global CO2 emissions from 2010 to 2018, an analysis has found. In that period, SUVs doubled their global market share from 17% to 39% and their annual emissions rose to more than 700 megatonnes of CO2, more than the yearly total emissions of the UK and the Netherlands combined.
No energy sector except power drove a larger increase in carbon emissions, putting SUVs ahead of heavy industry (including iron, steel, cement and aluminium), aviation and shipping. As the global fleet of SUVs has grown, emissions from the vehicles have increased more than fourfold in eight years.
If SUV drivers were a nation, they would rank seventh in the world for carbon emissions.
The demand for SUV’s has actually wiped out any advantages to the environment from our move towards electric vehicles.
